Forget that Scheffleras are small dwarf bushes for dark corners in boring office rooms. This magnificent species develops into a 5 to 10 meter tall tree.
It grows in mountain forests of Xishuangbanna and can take a bit of cold climate with mild and short frost, and it can also be exposed to full sun light.

The finger leaf structure is repeated also in the inflorescence.
The fruits of this Schefflera species are very attractive to birds and are in fact quite tasty.
