In tropical Xishuangbanna we continuously discover new wild banana species.
Some of them are edible, but most are full of seeds and only birds, monkeys
and elephants enjoy them.
One of the banana species is very tall and makes the longest fruit stand
we know: more than 3 meters long. This makes an extraordinary ornamental
piece for a dried flowers arrangement.
The species is a bit rare and there are not so many dried flowers to be
found. But we are now raising the species with the help of local farmers
and envision to increase our stock of dried flowers.
