The banana grows in the mountain forests of our area and the ethnic communities in the mountains are eating the flowers, only. The fruits are full of seeds.

By marketing this flower we assure that mountain forests remain protected and that the mountain folks can improve their livelihood. The people say the flowers mature every full moon.
